THANK YOU TO ALL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY DURING THE HOLIDAYS!
Thank you to all the Deer Park Families and Staff who contributed to our food drive, your generosity always overwhelmes me as we go beyond expectations each year!!
We met and surpassed our goals from last year, in fact we collected 2300lbs of food and $631 worth of turkey gift cards for the Thanksgiving Metropolitan Minnistries Food Drive.
In December, the families of Deer Park will become angels to 50 needy families, helping familes to put gifts under the tree for their children.
Last year Deer Park families collected a total of 19 bicycles and a variety of toys to fill our small conference room to its maximum capacity!!

WHAT'S NEW at Deer Park?
This year Deer Park has introduced a new Character Development /Classroom Management/ Caring School Environment sytem called :
CONSCIOUS DISCIPLINE.
This system teaches us all a way of dealing with others both in and outside of the classroom a way of developing positive relationships between our students and their teachers, students and their peers, teachers and their co-workers as well as positive relationsips between parents and their children.
The teachers, staff and administration have dedicated a three year time span to implement these strategies with each other and the students.
